Reduced iron powder, also known as "double absorbent", is a solid or gas reducing agent (coke, charcoal, anthracite, converted natural gas, decomposed ammonia, hydrogen, etc.) used to reduce iron oxides (iron concentrate, rolled steel scale, etc.) to produce sponge iron. The color is gray or black powder, which can absorb moisture and oxygen from the air and is commonly used for food preservation.
